Mittens Looks Around

I quickly eat the food, starving from the effort of having the kittens. "Two girls, four boys." I say softly. "I have names for them already."

"Really? What are they" I ask warmly.

"Jellybean, Haru, Flame, and Jake for the boys... Lilly and Rose for my two little girls." I say. "Silly names, but I like them."

"They aren't silly, I love them." I say gently.

"Good." I say softly. Then I drift off to sleep.

I smile and curl up putting my tail over my nose, watching you.

I stir softly, but keep sleeping. My kittens mew softly.

Keeping alert, I scan the area and close my eyes, but keep my ears perked.

I wake up a couple of times, but then nod off again.

Hearing a rustle, my head snaps up but realize its just a bird and put my head back down again.

*zzzzz*

I let my self fall asleep.

I wake up and then meow. "Pheonix!"

Hearing I jump to my paws, "What?" I ask worried.

"Oh, sorry, had a bad dream." I say happily. I settle back down and sleep.

"Okay." I say and relax to lay myself back on the ground.

*SLEEEEP*

Looking at you for one more time I fall asleep lightly.

*Sleeps*

Letting my eyes flutter open I watch you sleep.

I meow softly in my sleep and then stretch out a little.

Smiling I stretch out my front paws and tuck them back beneath me.

I wake up and then eye you. "Do you think we should move the kittens, or keep them where they are?"

"We could keep them in the Foaling Grounds, but in a safer place maybe..." I say thinking.

"This place is safe enough, I suppose."
