Mittens Looks Around

"Okay," I look around, "And I doubt someone cruel would come here."

"True." I lay there, admiring my babies.

I smile warmly and stare at you and the kittens.

"I apologize for the way I acted when I first had them. My mother told me that sometimes the male will want to kill the kittens."

"Its fine, it can be hard to know who to trust when you have kittens." I say gently.

"I like little Jellybean. He will be a great fighter!" I say happily.

"I bet they will have special potentials." I say softly.

I grin. "They will all be great children! Full of life."

"They have great parents, so they are bound for glory," I say.

I smile and then press my nose onto yours.

I sigh and twine my tail with yours.

I sigh. My heart swells when I think about us raising a family again.

I mew softly and then look up into the sky.

"Such a beautiful day" I sigh.

"Very." I agree.

"But no day can compare to how pretty you are" I breathe softly.

"That's pretty corny." I say softly.

I laugh, "I know"

"Cheesy line!" I tease softly. I lick my paw and then clean the head of one of my kittens.

I smile and lick my paw, then rub it over my head.

I smile. I stretch out and lay on my side, hoping the kittens are fed enough.
